We love the ease of slow cooker meals. You can make them all at the same time and then just pull from the freezer when you need them and dump into your slow cooker. - 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 large onion; sliced
- 2-3 bell peppers (any color you like), cut into strips
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 clove of garlic, minced
- 6 slices of provolone cheese
- Mix corn starch into chicken broth.
- Place all ingredients EXCEPT for cheese in a slow cooker.
- Cook on “low” setting for 6 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and peppers are soft.
- Lay cheese over mixture.
- Cook on “low” for additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Serve on a roll, or on top of a salad for a low card meal
Label your freezer bag. Mix corn starch into broth. Add all ingredients EXCEPT for cheese* to bag. Remove as much air as possible, seal and lay flat in your freezer for up to three months. When ready to cook, thaw, pour the contents of freezer bag into crock pot and cook on “low” setting for 6 hours. Lay slices of cheese over mixture and cook an additional 10 minutes on “low” setting. Serve on a fresh, hot roll.
Chicken Sausage and Peppers

2 Lbs chicken sausage in casing
1 sliced red pepper
1 sliced Green Pepper
1 Diced onion
Add to freezer bag, remove excess air and flatten for easier storage.
Cook in Crock Pot for 3 to 6 hours or on the stove top.
Hawaiian Chicken

2-3 chicken breasts
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbs soy sauce
1/2 can of large pineapple chunks
1/2 cup of pineapple juice (from can)
Crockpot Italian Chicken

1 small onion, diced
28oz of diced tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Label your freezer bag.
- To your freezer bag, add all ingredients. Add chicken to the freezer bag last so it’s the first ingredient poured into your crockpot.\
- Remove as much air from the freezer bag as possible, seal, and lay flat in your freezer.
COOK
- The night before cooking, move frozen bag to your refrigerator to thaw.
- The morning of cooking, pour contents of freezer bag into your crockpot.
- Cook on “low” setting for 4-6 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
Chicken Fajitas (Slow Cooker Recipe)
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts,
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 small yellow onion, peeled and sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
- The night before cooking, move the frozen bag to your refrigerator to thaw.
- The morning of cooking, pour contents of freezer bag into your slow cooker and cook on “low” setting for 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
- Shred chicken and serve with cooked onions and peppers.
TO FREEZE:
Add all ingredients.
Remove as much air from the bag as possible, seal, and lay flat in your freezer for up to three months.
Shredded Ranch Chicken Tacos (Slow Cooker Recipe)
Yields: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons Coconut oil (or olive oil)
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 taco seasoning packet
- 1 dry ranch seasoning packet Directions
- Combine all ingredient in a slow cooker and cook on “low” setting for 6-8 hours.
- Shred chicken and mix with sauces and spices left in slow cooker
Freeze and Cook Later
- Combine all ingredients in a gallon-sized plastic freezer bag and freeze for up to three months.
- When ready to cook, thaw overnight in the refrigerator or in morning in water.
- Follow cooking directions above.
Serve wrapped in tortillas or on top of a salad or on nachos.
