Slow Cooker Sweet n Sour Meatballs

Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Meatballs (FREEZER MEAL)

Ingredients
  • • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • • 1 med onion chopped
  • • 1 16-18oz bottle sweet & sour sauce, or homemade
  • • 1 20 oz pineapple tidbits drained
  • • 2 tb cornstarch
  • • 1 32oz pkg frozen fully cooked meatballs
Instructions
FREEZER MEAL INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Chop all veggies, open and drain pineapple
  2. Add frozen meatballs in gallon sized freezer bag
  3. Add in cornstarch
  4. Add entire bottle of sweet and sour sauce
  5. Add pineapple tidbits, onion, both peppers¬
  6. Freeze flat for up to 3 months
TO PREPARE:
  1. Thaw in the bag overnight in the refrigerator or quickly in a bowl of water
  2. Transfer into a slow cooker
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours (careful not to overcook)
  4. Add more cornstarch to thicken, if desired
  5. Serve over rice with steamed veggies on the side
