Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Meatballs (FREEZER MEAL)
- • 1 red bell pepper chopped
- • 1 green bell pepper chopped
- • 1 med onion chopped
- • 1 16-18oz bottle sweet & sour sauce, or homemade
- • 1 20 oz pineapple tidbits drained
- • 2 tb cornstarch
- • 1 32oz pkg frozen fully cooked meatballs
- Chop all veggies, open and drain pineapple
- Add frozen meatballs in gallon sized freezer bag
- Add in cornstarch
- Add entire bottle of sweet and sour sauce
- Add pineapple tidbits, onion, both peppers¬
- Freeze flat for up to 3 months
- Thaw in the bag overnight in the refrigerator or quickly in a bowl of water
- Transfer into a slow cooker
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours (careful not to overcook)
- Add more cornstarch to thicken, if desired
- Serve over rice with steamed veggies on the side
