FREEZER FRENCH TOAST

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • • 24 slices bread – I like to use wheat sandwich bread
  • • 12 eggs
  • • 2 cups milk
  • • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • • Cooking oil spray or butter

Instructions

  1. Directions:
  2. 1. Mix together the eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar & cinnamon
  3. 2. Dip the slices of bread quickly into the egg mixture.
  4. 3. Place the slices of bread onto a hot griddle that’s been coated in melted butter or sprayed with non stick spray
  5. Serve the French toast immediately with a little butter and, either powdered sugar or syrup.
  6. • Let French Toast cool completely
  7. • Place in a single layer on a baking sheet, waxed paper, parchment paper or even aluminum foil.
  8. • Next, place in the in freezer for about 30 to 40 minutes
  9. • Remove the FROZEN French Toast slices and place in a freezer safe bag.
  10. To reheat frozen French Toast
  11. Remove from freezer and heat up in the microwave, oven or toaster.
