Slightly Spicy Bacon Breakfast Spirals

This kicked up version includes rich flavors and extra heat! Fantastic flavor awaits your taste buds!!

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent dough (sheet is preferred)
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 slices of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • A Pinch to 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt & Pepper to taste (for eggs)

Instructions

  1. cook and chop bacon
  2. and salt and pepper to eggs and scramble
  3. on a floured surface, roll out sheet of dough a bit
  4. on top of dough add cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon crumbles
  5. Add red pepper flakes and green onions
  6. roll up tightly
  7. cut into 8 equal pieces
  8. place into greased pan
  9. TO FREEZE:
  10. Wrap with plastic wrap and/or aluminum foil
  11. label & place in freezer for up to 6 weeks
  12. TO COOK:
  13. Place in oven at 350 (from frozen or fresh)
  14. cook 10-12 min or until lightly golden brown
  15. OPTIONAL:
  16. After removing from the oven, brush with melted butter OR sprinkle the top with extra cheese
