Crock Pot Mississippi Chicken

Crock Pot Mississippi Chicken Sandwiches

Classic Mississippi Roast made with Chicken instead of beef. An EASY freezer meal and perfect for serving over rice, potatoes or as a sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning or 2 tbsp Costco Ranch mix
  • 1 packet Gravy mix or au jus mix
  • 4-6+ pepperoncini
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. place chicken in a 6 qt crock pot
  2. sprinkle both packets of mix on top chicken
  3. place pepperoncicis and 1/2 stick of butter on top chicken
  4. place lid on crockpot on low for 6-8 hours
  5. shred chicken in crockpot and mix with juices
  6. serve over rice, noodles or on a roll

Notes

To make freezer friendly: place all ingredients in a gallon freezer bag label with date, seal bag and put in freezer to cook defrost in fridge overnight and add the crock pot to cook
