The family and I JUST got back from experiencing the Food and Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure, and let me just say YUM!
The 2018 Food and Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure is GREAT for families! Even if your family is like mine and includes parents who don’t drink, kids who are picky eaters and a husband who eats gluten-free!
This is a California foodie’s paradise and one of the top Disneyland events in 2018! Taking place each year during March and April, the event offers guests the chance to sample delicious food and wine offerings every day, plus special workshops, classes and experiences on the weekends.
Truth be told, we weren’t actually planning on attending the festival on our recent trip to the Dinseyland Resort. BUT, by a happy coincidence, the last day of our vacation ended up being the festival’s soft opening day! So, since we were already there, we decided to check it out!
I wasn’t sure, however, if we’d like the festival or not. Number one; like I said, my husband and I don’t drink and number two; my kids are not very adventurous eaters. I wasn’t sure we’d find items on the menu we’d all want to try. We decided to check it out anyway and I’m so glad we did!
During this Festival there are little booths set up throughout the park. Each booth has a different theme and offers a variety of small plates of food and specialty drinks.
I highly recommend checking out the Food and Wine Festival even if you don’t drink AND even if you’re a picky eater. There’s definitely something for everyone, so it’s FUN! They even offer gluten free, vegetarian and non-alcoholic things on the menu.
