Mix together 8 oz cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar and mix together until smooth

Add cool whip to cream cheese mixture and fold in gently

Cube Angel food cake and add to coolwhip mixture

Fold in Gently

Place in serving dish and add cherry pie filling to the top and spread out
Chill for 30 minutes and serve!
